n reality I'm a pretty cool guy in my own way, and that's the way I like it. Who wants to be the same as everyone else? People are meant to be unique individuals, not cardboard cutouts or carbon copies. Personally I don't care what people think of me. Love me or hate me, I am who I am and I love it! Two descriptions that really fit my personality are totally nostalgic, and thoughtfully outspoken. I could also be described as geeky, nerdy and slightly eccentric. You should know as well that I'm unashamedly an introvert. It just means I'm different and have different qualities than an extrovert. One thing you can expect however is that I won't be the absolute most talkative person you've met, but once I'm comfortable with you you'll hear all about the things I love and that I'm passionate about. I'm a spiritual person despite not being religious. I believe the universe guides everything and that everything happens for a reason. Not so sure a god exists but its certainly possible. The supernatural fascinates me as well. It's always been my belief that there's more than meets the eye out there, strange things we know little about. I'm definitely open to any possibility. Just because its currently unknown, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Speaking of my passions... You could call me a bit of a starving artist working towards having my own web design business. Love unleashing my creative beast! Standing up for what I believe is true and right, defending my values, principles and viewpoints. It isn't something I'll ever back down on, even if I'm standing alone. I'm very passionate about it. In many ways I'm a bit of a rebel, in that I don't follow most of the norms or trends of today's society. For years I've been dedicated to wolverine-like political activism and volunteering. Aside from design and politics, my third big passion is writing, mainly poetry and opinion pieces. My dreams include having a family of my own someday, living in a beach house by the ocean that's decorated in 80's memorabilia and has a huge deck facing the water, along with traveling across Canada and to the UK. Currently I'm on a journey to live a healthier lifestyle, including losing some weight by eating healthier and being more active. However, at the same time I love delicious food and I'm far from a gym rat. That's me, that's who I am and I'm happy with that. I'm nowhere close to being a skinny guy and likely never will be. If you don't mind a bigger guy, then be prepared for some of the best cuddling you've ever had... :-D A lot of my free time is spent with the ones I love, my family and friends. I wouldn't be who I am without them! A big part of who I am is helping others, lending a compassionate ear or a strong shoulder, showing affection and support. I also love most animals, but I'm a cat guy at heart. I have a little buddy named Marco who's pretty cool in his own right. :-) I enjoy going out to Jack Astor's for a delicious meal like pizza, or taking an adventurous trip with great company once in a while, just not every day. I enjoy my time at home, too. Three of my favorite things on earth are the peacefulness of the ocean, being out in the pouring rain and crisp autumn air. They make me feel so alive... I think I was born too late. Anything retro or historical, from U.S. civil war era clothing to everything about the 80's, I find really neat-o. I'm not as fond of anything from the modern era, meaning since the year 2000. There are a few exceptions. A few of them being new science fiction, Thomas Jane movies, Sharknado or other creature movies, and the Grand Theft Auto video game series. Fun fact: I love The Simpsons and I often compare myself to Homer Simpson. You know, minus the beer and being dangerous anywhere near nuclear power plants, with just slightly more hair. :-P
