Well, as the nickname implies, I'm deaf, shy, quiet. I have a hard time opening up to people at first, mainly because people, for the most, get frustrated with me. It's been a long time since I have even been on a date of any kind let alone just a friend date out for coffee or whatever. Current friends consists of two busy-body 60s ladies that are neighbors...as much as I like them, I need to spend time with people my own age too, not that I would know what to talk about...I don't make a very good converationalist I guess...being deaf has that issue.
